It doesnt feel like a MMORPG

Ok we have all the mmorpg cliches and a lot of people,but what i and my friend were experiencing is that you cant really play together .If you want to play with your friend its more like you keep doing your quest and there is some guys kinda helping you.It just doesnt feel like you can accomplish something together.

Party finder is your friend.

The game is balanced for those that like group play and those that like solo play, at least until you get farther into the game and doing dungeons/raids/trials pretty much becomes all you really do. Before that, how much you play with others and friends is really up to you.
It is really only very specific quests, like the Class/Job quests that are every five levels that require you to do them by yourself. Asides from that you can group up with friends for everything else.

What I think he meant is not a full group, nor solo, but to be (2) person doing content or story. I remember how disappointed I was when me and my GF had to do the same instance separately when all we want is to play together, beside Fate and dungeons with 2 other people.

and when she was learning the game, hard for me to explain what to do since I cannot see her screen.. >.< (I wish I had superpowers, but so far Japan's out of my eyesight ^^)

So you party up, kill 10 Ants, then you need to split up, cause personal quests and storyline prevents you from being 2, not even your chocobo (poor little birdy..) done, then you join again to party..

Granted, since you start the game as a 'to-be-hero' it's hard for Game devs to make a story where 2 people would play that same part. Hence being force to do your story 'alone'

It's boring, but achievable.

So yup, even if the game is based on party of 4 and 8 (don't include raids cause it's still 3 x 8) For those that like pairing, its a bit.. disheartening.

I wonder what they will make us do for the wedding system, it could be the start of a new system, same with what they mentioned revamping the job system.
