So sad, it's true.

Seeing as there was a 14% chance to fail/obtain nothing with each swing.
I've actually managed to strike that 14% four times in a row.
Now, if only I could do that with materia.
But instead of failing, it was a success.
Oh well.....

yeah, like they have said it's random, but gosh... that some really bad luck you have there. they really need to rethink stuff a bit and place some mechanic for avoid this, because it's only big frustration. (can't imagine this with materia, wait don't need... i did miss 15 times with 50%)

The chance to succeed that was 86% iirc, so the chance to fail is 14%- to succesfully fail 4 times in a row at 14% is (.14)^4 = 0.00038416 . . . . So yeah.. lol

It was pretty dang useful in CoH. At best your accuracy was 95%. There was always a 5% chance of missing (or a 5% chance of hitting on the other end.) Streakbreaker just made it so that luck was fairly limited. Could still get unlucky and just alternate hits and misses, but that would be pretty dang unlucky.

I haven't laughed this hard all day. Thanks for sharing OP!
Actually, no wait. You obtain nothing from me!
