job for alt BRD or SMN?

I currently have a 104 WHM/SCH. I'm leveling an alt character so i can do SCoB twice a week. I originally wanted to play SMN when i got the game but switched to SCH for faster q times. Fell in love with healing and been maining sch ever since. (30 pts in mind) But now how i have a chance to main SMN on alt. Or I can go with a completely different playstayle with BRD. SCH is pretty much SMN without fester so a change of pace would be nice. Torn between the two.

Help me decide.

Currently have a lvl 15 arc on my alt. Was thinking of doing BRD since its not an archanist base class. But same time it would be sweet to play both an offensive and healer archanist at SCoB level

The stronger offensive character between the two would be Summoner and it would also be closer to heart for you in gameplay so you may actually excel better at it then on a Bard. There's a higher learning curve to master Summoner though.

However, Bard's a support DPS, so it would give you access to an offensive class while also providing some support to your fellow party members, building off your healing experience.
