Fireworks

Can they be heard at all? I can't hear them and in FFXI you could hear them from a few zones over. My only disappointment with the event.

Yes.

Check your sound settings. You might have something muted.

I can hear the them

I can hear them in town, but not in the residential district. I didn't check outside of town.

I can hear them from the market boards outside my house in the lavender beds :o Took forever to realize what it was though and they're quiet (but I guess lavender beds is pretty far away from the show too).

I can't even sleep at night...
