Unable to start chocobo companion quest

the requirements for starting the quest "My Little Chocobo (Twin Adder)" is apparently to just do the lvl20 main scenario quest "Wood's Will Be Done". However I have completely finished all main scenario quests. Unfortunately Vorsaile Helouix does not have the "My Little Chocobo (Twin Adder)" quest available for me. Then when I go to get the quest "My Feisty Little Chocobo" from Docette, she wont give me the quest and under requirements its just blank. nothing there. ive looked for hours over the net with no success and everyone on my FC have never had any issues nor have been able to help me. something must be wrong...:confused:
