AKS Charity Pet event.

Hello Gilgamesh Server!

A little under a year ago, Members of the Aureus Knights held an event to get a few people through Titan for the Child's Play charity. We had a wonderful turn out and ended up smashing the goal we had set in place. To those who joined us back then for that event, I wanted to again thank you for everything!

Once again, AKS is going to be holding an event though, this time, unfortunately it holds a more personal meaning.

Please take a moment and meet Serenity She is the niece of my best friend and mother to a good friend of mine who sadly was the victim of being shaken. With everything seemingly getting on track, the family found themselves being unable to handle care by themselves alone and are reaching out to others for support.

While I don't expect anyone to be able to pull from their own pockets to help, it would be beyond greatly appreciated if that could happen and Vicky and Serenity can get back on track with home and care desperately needed.

To bring awareness of this, AKS members will be having a pet/barding give-a-way (and perhaps a few runs in those pesky primals if they may be needed.) A few of it's members are currently working on getting a stable of pets and perhaps a few bardings to give away to members of the Gilgamesh community.
The date for the event is currently not set but we are looking at the 2nd weekend in September.

No donation is going to be required to enter for the give-a-way. All I ask is that you post in here so I can get your game name written down.


Since most of the pets are very RNG based (Bluebird, Wind-up Tonberry, etc) If anyone would like to donate these pets, I would be making a small donation in your name to Serenity if you wish to be recognized for your support.


More details of the event will be coming soon as we are able to find additional pets and get closer to setting an exact date.

Again, Thank you all for the support during Child's Play last year and any support you can give for Serenity and further events down the road. This community is fantastic and have seen nothing like it before. Thank you!

Just wanted to move this back to the front page and let people know that a list of pets will be edited into the first post over the weekend. This list will be added to before the give-a-way date, it will not be a final list.

I'll sign up as well though not quite knowing what for exactly. Could help anytime with running people through nasty primals if that's what's asked

This is being done to bring awareness to the charity (blue link above) I don't expect anyone to donate and it's not required to enter the drawing, though myself and of course the family of Serenity would be forever thankful if someone could find it in them to help.

The charity event only has 10 days left and unfortunately, we are so far away at this point though even if we don't reach the goal, the giveaway will still go on.
