Welp. I messed up.

A few days ago I turned a bunch of stuff in for Grand Company seals. I went a little crazy and turned in a weapon I had equipped for another class.

Now that I turned in my Doctore's Fork I can't actually access or level my Lancer.

I sent a GM support ticket in and they said because I got seals they could not restore it. (As an aside I got a very fast reply only a few hours. So props for that even though I didn't get the answer I was hoping for.) They made their descision. I'm not going to complain or fight them on that.

Does anyone know of a way other than me grinding a dungeon over and over (to hope for it to drop and me to win the roll for the fork) for me to get it again or swap out my primary saved weapon?

Buy an npc lance and equip it?

If you have another lance in your armory chest, attempting to switch to your saved set will ask if you wish to use the new weapon instead.

Get any lance that's a low enough level to equip and try to equip the gearset. SE finally got gearsets smart enough to request a different weapon rather than refuse to equip the set at all.

Yup, just buy a new lance, or use your seals to get a lance from your Grand Company. Either way you'll be fine, as far as doctores...if you grind it, it will come.

Just get another LNC/|DRG weapon and equip it. That will make you that class again, then equip your other gear again and if you have a saved gear loadout, then go and reassign gear to that.
If you have another lance/spear in your Armoury Chest, it should prompt you to use that if it can't find the assigned one if you are trying to switch to a now "broken" LNC/DRG gear loadout.
As far as getting the same or an equivalent weapon, well you'll just have to run the dungeon again as another class to get that drop or buy something off the marketboard.

I did try to just equip another lance and make it my primary. but no go.

Then I got smart just after I posted this. (the way it always works.)

I deleted the saved equipment profile then equipped a lance.

Boom. I'm a lancer. Naked. But still a lancer.

Or you could of just equipped the weapon, then used the set which would of worked since you're already a lancer. Then just resaved it.
