Recruit a Friend - Excalibur Player

Greetings fellow Community,

I recently recruited a friend of mine to play withe me FFXIV. Now she managed to get all the stuff she needs and wants to create a character on the same server as I am on (Excalibur).

Does anyone of you have an idea when or how to create a character there? She tried it for 6 hours straight from 22:00 - 4:00 in the morning our time (GMT+2) but wasn´t able to do so.

Does anyone have precious experience with that problem and knows any fixes for it? Thank you in advance for any helpful advice and fuck off for any stupid or crappy post.

Excal generally opens up around 3 -10 AM Eastern during weekdays, so in GMT +2 time I think that's... 9:00 to 16:00? I'm terrible at timezones, but essentially you need to catch the server when most of the NA population is going to be asleep.

Edit: For a point of reference, if my time conversion is correct then your friend was trying to roll a character between 16:00 and 22:00 for NA players which puts her into prime playing hours.

I´ve told her that as well, but she didn´t want to listen ^^. Thanks for the information Tsunenori. Gonna tell her.
