Ceiling Lights

Will there ever be an option to remove them entirely? I prefer the wall lights I can make and put up and want a slightly darker feel to my in game office room.

I would really love an option to remove the ceiling light.

Or an option to set the light level of the ceiling lights. ie via dimmer switch.

See I wouldn't mind that either! It's just one of two light levels. BLINDING BRIGHT or Projected swirling image on the floor ~_~

You will need to get creative to make it look nice but I think you can probably use partitions to surround the light and block it. Or use a partition to block the light from going to part of the room.

The problem with using partitions is if you set them too close to the ceiling light, the light will actually partially shine through the wall. It's an annoyance especially when you want spaces that aren't cramped little closets.

I forget where the thread was, but there was a dev post that said that we'd eventually be able to dim the lighting, but it wouldn't be coming for a while. I think they said after 2.4... Will edit my post with a link once I find it.

A partition would ruin the whole look of the office though

Awesome! wonderful! thank you! I just hope it works for personal rooms too.

The Marbor Chandelier adds a nice level of darkness to it, it became a pretty intimate setting in my room.
