BSOD on Second startup

I encountered a problem for the first time today. I can boot the game just fine the first time during a computer session, but if I go afk for an extended time (run an errand, take a nap) with the game booted up it freezes, goes to the desktop (technically, the game is still the front window, but it shows the desktop instead). I have to use the Task Manager to manually cancel the game.
If I boot it back up after this I get a BSOD just after the Square Enix logo pops up.

In the past few days I have done a windows update for a new C++ package, I updated the Razer drivers, and today I installed a video compression software. I did a search for the latter and it hasn't caused any issues that I've found.

This bug has only shown up today. I've been leaving the game running unattended all week without any issues (not the whole time), but today it's causing issues.

I should point out that the BSOD only occurs if I have to close the game forcefully using the task manager. I disconnected earlier and it booted back up just fine.

Update, after doing some more research it looks like (maybe) my problem was installing the update incorrectly. I have an AMD Radeon 7700 HD card, and apparently you are supposed to uninstall the catalyst drivers before updating.

Doing that now to see if it fixes the problem.

EDIT: Ok, I thought I fixed the problem, but I had the game freeze and lock up on me just a moment ago. I had to manually force the game to close, and when I booted it back up it the computer crashed with another BSOD.

Do you have access to the dump files from the blue screens?
