[dev1081] Achievements
I am curious as to how this is going to function. Is this being designed and implemented in the actual game? Or just improvements upon the lodestone achievement system.
An in game achievement systems sounds very appealing to me, it would be nice to have various other tasks and objectives in the game other than just levelling up, and a way to access and view your progress via an ingame list instead of going to lodestone everytime.
Will there be a visible list of achievements that you have not yet required? Or will they be hidden for you to find out for yourself? It would also be nice to have a summary included with the system displaying your # of enemies defeated which i think would be very useful for tracking the 50,000 and onwards creatures killed achievements there are currently.
What are everyone elses thoughts and ideas on the achievement system?

Yep I would like to see a more detailed achievment system, its one of my favorite parts of the game.

I think having achievements becoming more visible in game and not just Lodestone will encourage players to do more things they normally wouldn't.

Clear Toto-rak.
Defeat boss 1 / 2 / 3 in dungeon.
Repair 5 / 20 / 100 / 500 items.
Spend 1k / 10k / 100k on Npc repairs.
Defeated one of each common creature type.
Been raised 5 / 20 / 100 times.
Landed a killing blow on an undead using Banish.
Killed a floating eye with a spear.
Slew X hundred of creature type ¥.
Spiritbond with X number of equipment.
