i have joined a couple of link shells they are only trolling and not being very helpful or taking my search very seriously.
everyone want to do endgame and just hunts.
i want to complete a gear set.
help is very much appreciated.

Unfortunately I think you'll find that a lot of servers are in the same boat in terms of hunts. Most people have already done Odin a long time ago and the rewards aren't all that great except like you say to complete a vanity set. You've probably started tracking Odin a bit too late now through no fault of your own, and on Balmung for example about 80% of PFs are now about hunts as sad as that is and SCoB.
