marking options idea

hi devs and others.
hope this is the right sub forum.

i have been playing a lot of FL lately and have really enjoyed it.
i find it helpful when i target the healers with 'O' or 'X' so i know
how far away i can get without being out of their range.

but not everyone likes being marked for whatever reason.

could there be a way, maybe like the echo in chat log, to where you can mark someone
for your own benefit without it being aggravating/distracting/visible to others?

perhaps additional markings designed so that only you can see them.

Only thing i can think of is if you focus target the other healer it'll put a mark on their head, of course this is problematic assuming you need to ft a boss or tank.
