PS3 controller on PC

im sure there is already a thread floating around somewhere but i cant seem to find it. so im trying to get my ps3 controller to work on my pc for playing the game.

i used to have it back in 1.0 but has since lost that pc and had to get a new one.
i remember having to download a seperate software program that i would have to open before logging into the game in order for the controller to work. however i dont remember what program that was.

so now i plug in the controller and i get a notice that says "driver has been installed" but when i get into the game to map/config the controller buttons/analog sticks it doesnt respond.

any techincal people had the same issues that can walk me through how you fixed it?

There is several of them - MotionJoy was one of the first then came Scarlet Crush PS3 driver and some more - if you google "PS3 controller PC driver" you'll see a bunch there.

I had one that overrode the PS3 controller and made the PC think it was an xbox controller, forgot the name now though sorry. But it worked quite well.

Hello! I am using Better PS3 or somthing like that jejej. But you new to create a profile and select the game pad like a x-box pad because the program dont let you use the joystick.
If you dont know how create a profile in this program I will help you.
