Still wondering about Blocking and Parrying

When, if ever, will it become possible to block and parry TP attacks? I hoped the combat changes would make it possible, but there's still been no mention of it at all. They can only miss and be evaded :(. If you're going to have bosses like the Ogre in Darkhold do TP attacks more than regular attacks, then that's gotta change. Cant do anything for those besides take it in the face, and that's no fun (unless you like taking it in the face....)

Also, I still believe the 'Guard' Skill should go away and blocking become auto based on the blocking of the shield.
