Hello, I have a problem reuniting whit my friend, I invited him to my party via the player finder but we started in different towns, is there a way to teleport there or I need to wait until certain level/mission starts? Also he's on the 14 days free-Trial he may be restricted? If I search for a duty he can join me?
Pleas help, I'm new to this.

Airship travel is unlocked upon completion of a lv.15 story quest that introduces you to the other 2 starting cities. Until then, you can technically walk between Gridania and Ul'dah. If your friend is playing Arcanist or Marauder however, they will start in Limsa Lominsa. That region is only accessible by boat or airship. You can teleport via aetherytes, but you have to first reach those cities first to unlock the teleports.
So if your friend is in Limsa, you have 2 options. One is to complete the lv.15 story quest. The other is to find a FC with a house in your friend's starting city. You can then teleport to your FC house and reach your friend's starting city without having to unlock airship travel or traveling by foot. It may still require 1 to 5 minutes of walking, but most of your fc members will be able to point you in the right direction.
Be aware though that many of the story quests have solo instances until lv.15, although side quests and levequests can be done in a group. You will simply unparty for the solo instance content.

Just so you know, in case you were unaware, the main story quests are the ones that have the fiery outline on their icon.
Also around level 10 you can unlock levequests and guildhests. You can make a party with your friend and join in guildhests together even if you aren't in the same zone.
