There's been lots of talk about how Relic weapons will, over time, be the strongest weapons in the game. But as of right now, many have chosen the Soldiery/Primal alternatives in lieu of the Atma/Animus/Novus grinds of the Zodiac Saga.
My question is, what are the plans - if any - for future scaling of non-relic weapons? Will they just be replaced by newer ones? Will the Gerolt/Soldiery weapons have their own progression/upgrade objectives? Or will everything eventually funnel back to Relic weapons?

The highest content raid will always be #1
Relic/token weapons will be 2,3
Relic theoretically will always be 2 since you have the option to put optimal stats on it.
Primal will be 4
The are no direct enhancement plans for token/primal weapons outside of the one time items sands/mirrors announced at this time. -

And maybe one day they'll put a raid-only upgrade to the relic.
