New player, looking for help on Besaid

Hey guys,
After reading about the 1.18 patch and having played a bit in beta to know the game lacked the mechanics I needed to have a worthwhile experience, I decided to give the game another shot. That being said, I want to make the most out of my experience on the Besaid server.

I'm a US player, mainly active in the evenings and on weekends. I'm currently a Lancer, going through the main quests until I need to increase my rank by other means. If there is a new player friendly linkshell or perhaps just some helpful new players or veterans that would like to play, I would really appreciate having some friends.

If you haven't already, it might be worth giving the Besaid forum a visit as well. People sometimes recruit from those.

The keyboard and mouse side of the experience isn't quite where the developers would like it to be.

The interface and gameplay lag is significantly less than beta-time, so that token may be a more pleasant experience. The combat mechanics are still undergoing refinement, so there may be times where things don't feel as polished.

A linkshell named PANIC has adventurers on a span of ranks running around. I'm not sure who has the pearl bag. May need to contact Vhile Grimfinger, Funky Scherzo, or Albhed Moogle while in-game to get a feel if the linkshell meets your needs.
