Because of Hunts~~
Coil queues are dead.
Duty Find Queues are dead.
Doing Atma/Animus Book for dungeon, the Queue for them are dead.
Small loading is dead. Now its a long long loading with ppl zerking on a single map for a single Mark.
Helping New Leaf players in the game is hard to find a Queue of the class for them is also dead.
Force of luck on Roulette to get the dungeon.
Force to ask FC for a dungeon run.
Coil 6-7 looks pointless besides Gear but Queue is dead.

Theres been a lot of posts like this and I personally agree, but its been many weeks since hunts were added and SE has failed to respond to this conern let a lone make any real changes, so I hate to say it but I doubt we will now see anything major happen. I've just learnt to put up with the queues and expect this to be the way it is from now till the expansion. I doubt we will have the variety of connect that is active pre 2.3 till the expansion as even increasing the iLvl with 2.4 will just further remove all the previous dungeons/primals/raids etc from being worthwhile.

Yeah I had the same trouble yesterday. I'm on Titan Extreme and T5 first Coil and there is just no one in PF for them anymore because they are all doing hunts. Also, I know FATE grinding was kinda power leveling, but no one does that anymore either so it's harder to level other jobs. I haven't found much trouble with DF queues on my server though, but then I am a WHM. Though, low level MNK roulette was fast yesterday too.
PS. No one tell me to make a static, I am well aware I'd get them done faster with one. I am a mother of a one year old so I can't really commit to statics right now.

90% of the people I hunted with in the first week, alongside myself, are doing anything but hunts at the moment. Personally only bothering with S marks myself.
Let people get their glamours and i110 gear, eventually they'll move on with what they were doing prior to hunting.

Hunts are new and shiny, all that you listed isn't. It happens every time something new is added. The only difference here is more people can do hunts because it doesn't require unlocking anything or being good at them. Have you thought of making your own PF for things, if you're not already? You might be, I don't know. Majority of people who complain the game is dead for X reason usually sit around waiting for PFs to join, so just trying to nip that one in the bud early. ;)

Me and a friend tried to set up a pf for turn 7 last night. wound up getting 2 more people, then getting nothing for an hour, and it falling apart, obviously.
The hunts hurt a certain group of people especially. Those that have progressed into second coil without reliable statics. I realize that summer has alot to do with it (I'm a postal worker by trade, and there seems to be a huge amount of people out of town the past 2 weeks) Those who couldn't pass turn 5/titan went into hunts and are not coming out till they got everything they can, and hope the gear will carry the kills. The raiders already done with turn 9 do hunts to fill out offspecs and get their weekly coil done in about 1-2 hours. Being in between that, and disliking the gameplay of the hunts as much as I do, well, puts me in a SOL position.
And like kaskel said, If the devs haven't done anything yet to help the situation, they're not going to. At the moment I'm considering leaving until 2.4 comes out, so the hunts will be ignored content.

I'm sure SE realises how unbalanced hunts are, but to balance the rewards now would upset a lot of people. The best they can do is not repeat the same mistake with 2.4. It's ridiculous that a party of 8 clearing the entire Second Coil can only get two sands of time a week (4 weeks for all to get one) while all 8 of them could farm a sand a day if dedicated enough or one a week casual. Coil is obsolete in terms of time/reward apart from T9 weapons. Ramuh and CT2 were obsolete from day 1 and the 3 dungeons aren't progression content.
I've still to this day not done Ramuh Extreme and I unlocked it the day after the patch. I have no reason to other than to get the clear in time for Shiva in 2.4. The rewards are trash. Likewise I haven't done CT2 in weeks because I've no interest in i100 gear that can't be upgraded or an oil of time that drops every third run being lotted on by 8 people (faster to get one via hunts).
Point is hunts were the only progression content added in 2.3 and they are better value for time than 2.2 progression content. So it's no surprise everyone is doing them.

i110 unweathered is the new hardcore, have fun sitting for 3 hours waiting for your static to get on in fallgourd while I load up on sands and exceed your ilevel, lmao. Actually playing the game? what a waste at this point when I can get unweathered and be the baddest boy in brayflox.

Indeed, something needs to be done about this HUNT thing. The reward is fantastic, but now this is all people do. Not sure if SE intention is to kill Duty Roulette or Raid.... This is not helping to promote skillful players at all... It's been almost a month now, and still no official response on how they are going to adjust this. It's "FATE Party 2013" all over again - same thing killed dungeon queue until they fixed the reward ratio.
