Allagan T5 Or Amon's?

This is my current setup, I just got rid of the wave bow and replaced with SOL wep, now I need to make up my ACC for T8 again.... But at the same time see the benefit of Amon's Breeches with the 5+ Dex vs. my Allagan T5 pants for the bard, Do I go for these pants?? Or do I got for Amon's boots for a next piece?

I see the crit loss on the Allagan pants that I have and wonder if the 5+ dex will compensate with Static DMG. I'm not sure but, I believe 1dex = 5-6 crit? If so should I get the breeches or go for amon's boots to make up the acc I need for T8?

Did you forget that Amon's breeches have 19 Determination? Crit and Det have almost the same weight (tbh, you can regard them the same. Their difference is 0.00X). Simply speaking you lost 5 points in secondary stats but you gain higher DEX and VIT. The ACC value is higher. Amon's breeches anyday over Allagan breeches.

Personally I would take Amon's breeches this week, and switch food to Apkallu Omelette. Then you can take Amon's boots next week.

And since Crit and Det differs in the thousandth of a point of secondary stat, technically Apkallu Omelette is most useful until you are absolutely over accuracy. It gives a max of 27 crit with 11 acc, while Black Truffle is a max total of 28 secondary stats.

Need a clarification on something here; Isn't crit more valuable than det to bards due to bloodletter procs? Or is there DR on stacking crit that you wouldn't want to go beyond a certain value?

I'm not really a theory crafter but as of current standing, crit and det by stat weightage are at 0.31X to 1 DEX respectively. It appears that they doesn't really differ.

And from personal experience, back in 2.1 BiS set having 550+- crit and now struggling to hit 500 crit (previously when I don't have the HA pants yet and using Auroral pants, I was at 48X crit but 340++ Det), I don't really feel much. WD and DEX increment still have more tangible effect.
