Worth coming back?
I played beta and for about 3-4 months after release and then about 2-3 months after 2.0 came out before I left to go traveling. Since then my brother and friends have stopped playing, but I am tempted to start again. Is the game still interesting as a new player or is every one playing already end game and not doing anything low level? Is it easy to pick up everything that's changed since I left or will I feel lost?

Now is a great time to come back.
With 2.4 coming just around the corner, there will be a huge demand for lower level content partners.
People still do low level stuff, and we still love helping cooperative new players learn and thrive.
I often make it a point to stop and talk with anyone I see with the little leaf by their name.
If you're thinking of coming back, and will be on Coeurl, please let us know.
We'd love to have you.

jenova is another good option. we have dont have too many people, 15k with the next least populated being 50k, if that plays a factor in deciding where to start. i have dps and healer roles, so im always running stuff with anyone who needs it, working on getting a tank soon. the fc im in right now, everyone is very helpful and we are quite active, we have some people with all gathering classes, and some with all crafting classes maxed, and its not a problem to make stuff when needed. if you decide to start in jenova, feel free to find me, and we will all help you.
