Ingenuity?

So I have ingenuity (level 15) and I was wondering when I should use it?

While leveling you might use it on higher difficulty recipes such as housing items, iirc it should help.
Later you will be using it for anything above level 50 such as 1,2 or 3 star recipes.

It's really only any use on 1, 2 and 3 star crafts.

It's a help on all synths now. They changed it from "lowers synth to your level" to "lowers synth level a small amount". It's not a huge help, but if you find yourself with more cp than you can use for touches but not enough for a mend, go for it.

If you are a lower lever than the recipe, you get a penalty to progress and quality.
If you are a higher level than the recipe, you get a bonus to progress.

As Ingenuity now lowers any recipe by several levels, it can be used to effectively craft items several levels above you whilst avoiding the penalties (and potentially getting a progress bonus).
