Sustain - is it happening only to me?

Did se change the global Egi defence or was only for Ramuh extreme?
I'm using sustain more often since the 'hotfix'.
Feels like garuda Egi is taking very high damage from leviathan aoe damage and from heavensfall in t9. Even from fireball in t5.

Oh no, SMN now have to actually worry about their pets rather than just "set and forget"...

EDIT: Really, pets should not be just set in one spot and then just ordered to Contagion when its up and DoTs are refreshed. Tossing a sustain once in a while isn't going to kill your DPS

Garuda should have honestly been nerfed in 2.3. Or ifrit buffed more. Right now its still just "set and forget" Gaurda for all SMN

If what she said has any merit, ifrit would fare worse in most fights simply because he's melee. Even with a buff.

I don't understand your sarcasm/toxicity.
I'm not complaining of micro management that i already do. I'm just asking if pets are weaker. And of course i move and sustain garuda, just don't wanna do it for the entire fight, i'm a dps, garuda only does 1/3 of my damage output so i'm not supposted to be a healer.
Sustain shoild be situational, not strictly necessary every minute.

Ever tried dodging Weight of the Land and making a pet dodge it too?

Not that he really got a buff. aoe potency 105 to 110. OK. Garuda got the better buff this round.

ramuh was the only change made, when you probably had happen in turn 9 was if garuda was in the dead center during heavens fall, she doesnt get knocked back, and thus hit by every single blast which is i think 16 in total, needless to say she dies basically instantly if that happens even with the aoe reduction, i made the same mistake once and quickly learned not to do that again lol.

as far as leviathin goes, if the pets get hit often enough the change can start hitting for 5k+ with the water debuff, even with the aoe reduction.

Ever tried placing pets off in a corner, in range of AoE heals but outside of stack of the land?
