CAPES
Hi SE, i just want to know if ( in a near future) we can have capes to use, it will be so awesome to fight as a paladin wearing a long blue cape of awesomeness, i know that some kind of cloth needs all the kind of animation and have clipping issues, but anyway, make it happen please?

I'd like capes as well. Has always been one of my favorite features cosmetically in MMO's and I'm sad sometimes that this great game doesn't have the option.

From what I understand, SE was waiting to implement capes to allow for a more physics-focused approach than just set animations. Sadly, releasing the game on ps3 killed this idea due to its inferior processing power.
It seems the cape on Odin's armor still exists, just isn't being drawn. If you mouse over the area behind a character with the set on, you can see the click-box is slightly larger due to some invisible back-piece of gear (at least this was true through 2.1, no idea if it was changed since then)

Given the flamboyancy of some things, I'd wager that capes will make a presence at some point, albeit not a heavy one. It'll most likely be part of a chest/body equip design, rather than its own slot or a misc item.

Hood with a cape and I'd level a bard!
I hate dps but this would make me do it.
+1 from me

DGN with a cape ---> jump ----> cape winds around his neck ----> dies choked ----> awesomeness level over 9000!!!!!

Forget capes. Cloaks are where its at in a fantasy setting. We needs us some good cloaks.

Alright... maybe a couple. One might look really good with my Ming the Merciless 'Armor of Light' Supervillian outfit I got from CT.

i didnt know about this ps3 limitation ( i'm a pc player) but they could make an option to show/hide it and now we have ps4 to overcome this
