Problem paying through Steam Wallet

My account expired today and when I try logging in to FFXIV (via Steam) I get redirected to the Mog station. It shows my monthly payment method is via Steam wallet. When I progress further in trying to pay, I get a message that "an error has occurred or the web site might be down"... this has been going on for the past couple of hours. Contacted SE like the error said and was basically told, "You bought the game through Steam, contact them as it is their problem, thank you very much."
My Steam Wallet has sufficient funds for the monthly subscription.

Anyone else having this problem?
