2nd Class For Monk

I have had a level 50 MNK (My main and first level 50!) for a couple weeks. I have my relic weapon, soon to be Zenith. Basically I am getting to the true end game content where skills and equipment matter.

My question is: Are there any "must have" skills from other classes that would compliment a monk?

I have started leveling CNJ just to pass some time while waiting for DF, but perhaps there is another class I should be focusing on?

Your sub classes as Monk are Lancer and Marauder. You should level those ones if you want any cross class skill. More specifically (maybe Lewena can add a short section for cross-class skills), you will want to get Blood for Blood and Invigorate from the Lancer class (lv34), and Fracture/Bloodbath/Mercy Stroke from the Marauder class (lv26).

The good thing about this is, if you wanted to level these other classes into jobs, Warrior can use Featherfoot, Second Wind, Internal Release, and Mantra from pugilist, and Dragoon can use these as well (along with the MRD abilities). So it works out quite nice.
