Reuse timer

This might be me being foolish, but I can't seem to see anything which shows the reuse timer on my quick bar. I'd like to be able to see that blood for blood has X seconds left on its cool down etc.

Is there such a feature? If not, does anyone know if there are plans to add it?

It should be darkened, with a line slowly sweeping clockwise around from the top. As the line moves, it lightens the button. When the entire button is lit, the skill is cooled down and can be used again. Highlighting the icon with a mouse shows the time remaining on the cooldown in seconds (and fractions of a second when it's under a second remaining).

Is that what you're talking about?

Yeah, ideally I'd be able to have that text over the top of the icon, rather than having to mouse over to get the actual cool down info. The line is OK, but means you don't really have precise info to tell when the ability will be off cool down.

I agree, it'd be nice if they'd add that option.

Ah, so I haven't just missed the option.

I wish they'd implement this.

You could always macro in the /recast "Blood for Blood" after an ability you use more often.

This will give you the time left in the chat box.

Ex:

/micon "Straight Shot"
/ac "Straight Shot"
/wait
/recast "Blood for Blood"

Personally I like having a /wait in there so when I spam the buttom it doesn't fill my chat with recast timers with the only downside being if you hit the next action before the gcd it won't display the recast at all.

But having the timers on the spells themselves would be preferred above all else.

This needs to happen as soon as possible. I hate those stupid clock wheels, especially on long recast spells, or timing my next activation of dps buff series's. Below is an image pilfered from a previous thread on the kinds of customisations that would be welcomed.

Yeah, there's a lot of customization of the hotbars here, so it's weird that this feature is lacking. It'd be a really useful piece of information for timing stuff on the fly too. It really needs to get implemented.

/echo is your friend

Wont display a time on the icon as you desire but you can have a message display to you in chat log that said ability is ready. Sadly /echo is all one color so the disadvantage is that if you have multiple /echos your chat log might annoy you. However you could offset it buy having the message displayed written in your on form of "short hand" so to speak.

As an example I use:

/ac flaming arrow
/wait 60
/echo !! -- FLAMING ARROW READY -- !!
