is my impression or duty roullete with tanks is more faster than healer?(job in need)

I noticed that after i register in ANY duty roullete with tank(adventure in need) is NINJA! 2-4 sec to join... if i go as healer(adventure in need) took like 2-5 mins.... i'ts normal? and is not only 1,2 times... i noticed this since the release of duty roullete :(

Job in Need is only updated every so often, and it basically takes a snapshot of the needed job at the moment.

Sometimes, there is an actual shortage of healers instead of tanks, and the game will eventually add (Healer) as job in need. Usually this is followed up by a horde of healers queing, and it reverting back to tank shortage. In the meantime however, it will continue to display (Healer) as job in need.

The same happens with tanks sometimes.

Kyros explanation makes perfect sense, I didn't realize this occurred due to the mega-sluggish update of the adventurer in need role.

So far from what I've seen, adventurer in need is tank 90% of the time, healer 9% of the time, and DPS 1% of the time (i have only seen DPS as adventurer in need on trial roulette or story roulette, never for dungeons)

I agree with Kyros's post. There's usually the least tanks queueing, then quite a few healer players, and finally a huge abundance of DPS players.

I've seen the DPS adventurer in need quite a few times, but even if it's officially in need for however many seconds, if you try queueing as DPS for that category, it will still take you as long as it always does for a DPS. As a healer I usually queue for a couple of minutes (with some exceptions, most notably for Trials and guildhests, at least on my server cluster), while as a tank it's typically only a matter of seconds till I get into a duty, no matter what the AIN display says.

Not even sure if the display is really sluggish or it's simply a couple of seconds to the windows in which there's a healer or DPS shortage. I've experimented by withdrawing from the queue and re-queuing to see how often it updates, and I've seen it switch between roles in a matter of seconds before.

I usually queue up for DF as a healer. What I noticed is that when role in need is tank I would get in almost instantly. If a role in need is a healer, then I would have to wait forever...

Im assuming its because as soon as it shows Healer in Need, everyone and their brother queues up at the same time and has yet to update to say Tank in Need.

I never look at the adventureer in need, but everytime I queue with an healer, it's istant xD

I've actually seen it once, but had it twice. The first time I didn't notice until I had actually finished the run. I didn't pay attention when I was hitting the roulette since I was tunnel-visioning for myths for my Animus books. The second time I had it, this time I saw it, was a Trials roulette the other day. Strangely, when I joined up when I did hit it, the party was still missing both tanks for a couple minutes. lol
