They never rewarded tomes for low level roulette when you're not 50.

yea they did b4 when there was still tomes of philosphy around you could switch off of your 50 to a lower lvl class and you would still get tomes

This. It says in the description Allagan tomestones are only awarded to level 50 characters.

7 of my classes were leveled through low level duty roulette back when philosophy was still a thing. I was never rewarded tomes other than seals, coins, and bonus exp.

hmm i couldve sworn i got tomes back then meh not really a big deal

It would make grinds way too rewarding if you were below Lvl.50. If it gave Myth at any point, I would have been able to gear out my WAR before Level 40. The point is to give Lvl.50 Players incentive to potentially help low leveled players in the Duty Finder.

You might be thinking of the dungeons that were Level 40+ dropping like... 2 philosophy per boss.

No. You can't change in dungeon, and if you Queue as a non-lv50, you don't have tomes bonus even if you have jobs at 50 already
