SCoB static looking for a PLD replacement (T9 progression group)
Hi! Thanks for checking the thread. We are a 7/8 SCoB static currently working on downing Turn 9. We have progressed about halfway through phase 3 prior to our tank leaving.
Our current party makeup is... WAR/PLD(you!)/WHM/SCH/BRD/SMN/BLM/DRG. Our paladin needed to drop the static due to RL commitments and so we are looking for someone who has roughly the same knowledge of the fights. If you have only been to phase 2, for example, don't be shy about chatting with me as we don't mind retracing our steps for cool people. However, we would prefer someone who has at least SEEN Turn 9 (and is comfortable with 6-8) as we would like to hit the ground running.
As of right now, these are our times:
Wednesday: 9pm EST until 12am EST (three hours)
Sunday: As early as 6pm EST until 12am EST (six hours WITH breaks, or until people feel like stopping... we may start late depending on what people need to do that day. The start time is not set in stone so no worries if you can't make it that early)
Monday: 9pm EST until 12am EST (three hours)
Here is how we do our fights:
T6: LoS method in phase 1+2, burn method in phase 3
T7: SMN kiter, 4x renaud stack
T8: WAR MT, 5x dps (if you have a dps off-spec, that'd be great, but if you don't, we have enough dps to easily go with 4x dps)
T9: PLD MT (but we are flexible, and our WAR has been MTing since we lost our other PLD, so no worries if you prefer OTing)
We use mumble to communicate. You are not required to speak although it is heavily encouraged, but you MUST be able to at least listen. The majority of us have been running together since BCoC (late 2013) so we are very closeknit and friendly. We aren't going to be jerks about the occasional mess up, but be warned that you WILL get teased about it... :P
Here's how we do loot:
Everyone picks a main and a secondary job. Your main job should be the job you play... aka, Paladin! Your secondary job can be whatever you want. After all people have a piece of gear for their main jobs, it goes to secondary people, and then finally free lot if no one else needs it. We use a handy google doc to keep track of what people choose so there's no confusion.

I probably won't be keeping an eye on this thread because I'm a lazy butt, but feel free to send a tell to Ryuko Kanzeon (me) or Vor An about joining our static. We are a full FC static, and you are more than welcome to join our FC, but we understand the desire to stay with friends, etc, and so it isn't a requirement if you are in a FC you are already happy with. Mostly, we are looking for someone who is both skilled AND has a good attitude about progression and working together as a team.
