The Grand Companies of Eorzea

So, something I've noticed about the leadership of the Grand Companies(and I believe this holds true for 1.0 as well - but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong):

We never really see Raubahn fighting, or even with his weapon(s) drawn,

We never really see Kan-e-Senna fighting, or using much magic, but

BLOODY HELLS we see sure do see Merlwyb shoot a lot of stuff!

Long live the Great Admiral of Limsa Lominsa! May she carry the Maelstrom to victory now and forever!

And who would have thought Maelstrom is like the biggest loser of Frontlines right now. Only flashes, no bullets.

I know. :( Trying to rally the troops.

That's because the other two GC leaders are not soldiers (well, Raubahn is a GLA admittedly, but still is more suited to small-scale combat and not a large scale free-for-all battle). Kan-E-Senna particularly is a staunch pacifist, not surprising given her padjal heritage (this is symbolized in Gridania's motto 'serenity, purity and sanctity').

Besides, I could say something why Merlwyb really carries those pistols, but I won't. ;)

That's considering the fact The adders and flames are double teaming us. lol

believe me, you don't want to see kan-e-senna go crazy... i feel she is the type of girl if you mess with her you will regret it.

As much as I love Kan-E-Senna, I want to smack her brother for being so arrogant.

Well we also see Raubahn get all huggy and cuddly and the other two don't show more than one emotion. :P

I want to see someone push Kan-e-Senna over the edge. lol

If you do the Armorsmith final quest, you get to see Merlwyb shoot some armor models. :P I think Kan-e-Senna does some shield related magic in a echo cutscene.

Raubahn is probably not a Gladiator in my opinion. You always see Sultana Nanamo Ul Namo on his shoulder. This is because he is a class that fights with a minion... Maybe Summoner or Puppetmaster? Think like Lulu from FFX with her cat sith doll.

Raubahn has a VERY powerful minion though. I'd say he is the most powerful of the three and that is why we haven't seen him fight. If he were to unleash the Sultana off his shoulder and on to his prey, there would be no survivors most likely.

He is.

He actually becomes a member of the syndicate by winning so much in fights that he has enough money to gain a seat. ^^
You get to see him fight in 1.0, too.
