Remove myth and soldiery from hunt rewards

The rewards for hunts greatly outweigh any other form of reward in the game as it stands now.

Why queue for any roulette, why run any dungeon, why complete dailies? All you have to do is hunt elite marks for a few hours. It negates nearly all other content in the game. People need to be spread across the content, not herded into an all inclusive one.

Get rid of the myth and soldiery rewards, keep the allied seals.

Why?
DR: Expert for daily Alexandrite map
DR: Trials/High Level/Main Story/Low Level if you don't want to get into hunt drama or run around zones helping search for the elite marks

DR is low stress, hunts are high stress... with some people ignoring stress completely and just thinking about efficiency... also ignoring any kind of fun since hunts are certainly not fun.

Would you rather go back to the days of mythfloxing?
That was high stress too and certainly not fun... While people did that, others did regular DR's for various reasons...

No. Up beastman and treasure-chest myth/sol, and possibly add a decent roulette bonus to each run if needed.

But don't try to force me back into dungeons. >:-(

You think people doing hunts for myth and sold ? Oil/sand of time is the big fish here , the rest is just a bonus .

You kids these days think Mythfloxing was bad? Back in my day, it was AK Philo runs all day, every day. There weren't even roulettes for bonus stuff. It was all just "Run AK over and over forever to get full DL and get to your 300 Myth daily cap to earn AF2 a little bit quicker."

In all seriousness, with the hardcore-ness of hunts, I'm kinda discouraged to get all of those cool new glamour pieces like the Flame Elite Axe and the Flame Elite Harness. Actually makes me sad that I'm not willing to put myself through the stress of hunts to be able to get that awesome gear. Hopefully whatever changes they implement for hunts will end up making the hunts a lot more enjoyable for a lot more people. I've said this before and I'll say it again. I don't even care about the Alexandrite or those Bloody Logs. I just want the GC Elite gear for glamours. That's it. And I can't get it 'cause the Hunt system is just Odin swarming on not just crack, but all of the drugs. And Odin/Behemoth is literally all I can take of that kind of content right now.

I know! Not only that, but if you wanted to run WP for Myth, you'd be laughed out of RevToll so freaking fast because it wasn't worth it due to AK having the higher amount of Philo/Myth drops. And if you were desperate to get full DL and you hit your myth cap (which was 300, not even 450, which it is now), you had to run Praetorium over and over and over, because it gave more Philo than AK, and CM is disgustingly long by comparison.

Well than if people aren't running Hunts for myth or soldiery rewards, then there is no harm removing them from the rewards right?

The population needs to be spread out amongst the content.

If you want to build up myth then direct the player base to a certain content.
If you want to build up soldiery show them to a different content.
If you want to build up allied seals participate in Hunts.

Right now hunts cover all three of those forms of currency. And you can build up myth and soldiery faster in hunts than you can by roulette. There is a problem there.

Take away the myth and soldiery rewards and see what happens, maybe people will continue to flock to hunts just to grind out oils and sands. But maybe, just maybe it will thin the zerg out.

"back in my day"? What, 11 months ago? lol, also AK was only worth doing for Philo instead of CM at a slightly later patch.

Actually back in 2.0 it was more time efficient to do WP runs for Myth.

Personally I hated AK more than Mythflox.
To get my darklight set I ran mainly CM and occasional WP, for basically the same reasons I didn't do mythfloxing to support my book purchases toward animus.
I think I ran CM 30-40 times, all queued up solo in the duty finder and was quite sick of it after that and it took a long time before I could enter that place again without feeling ill at the thought.
