Why double mooch when you can triple Mooch?

It seems it's possible to Triple mooch, got my first triple mooch today.

Seems I could Triple Mooch a Merlthor Goby to a Wahoo to a Giant Squid to a Megalodon (and oddly enough the Megalodon that tried to eat the Squid was smaller than the Squid)

The ship Graveyard was the location btw 309 gathering, 265 Perception

I do wonder if this is intended, or just an accident that this happened without unlocking a "triple mooch" skill.

This happened to me too unfortunately my stats weren't high enough so didn't bother going for the triple.

Skill description - Allows you to mooch with a mooched fish.
Says nothing about how many times you can do it because it depends on fish available in fishing hole and luck.

Exactly. What they DID expressly state in the patch notes is that some fish had been changed so that they can be used as mooch bait. Evidently, some mooched fish that were previously not able to be used as bait, now are.
