New PGL R50 weapons and Magic Potency

Okay, so what is up with the large magic potency buffs on the new R50 pugilist weapons?

Melee weapons have always had Magic Acc and Potency. Its hidden in game, but you can see it in the DATs (and database sites).

Don't you have to consume precious mp when using actions like "Light Strike" and "Pummel", now? Perhaps those effects have to do with Magic Potency now... and new gears' stats could help enhance them as well...

I think its more because even as PGL you can use THM/COM spells on the mob. As such, you need some sort of Magic Acc/Potency.

They are probably setting it up for Monk Job
