Binding a key for AOE does not work

I have tried pressing Z, which is automatically bind to turning AOE on and off after patch 1.18, and it does not work for me, that or it doesn't leave a text saying that AOE is turned on and off as you would type it.

There no more AOE spell you now get Curega and so on and am guessing black mage would get the AOE version of the nukes.

edit:Wait hmmm i remember they was taking it off not sure if they did going to check.

Edit2: Just check and pretty much the UI pop up for the AOE still you can't see the UI for it? or you having other issue?

Actually you cannot toggle AOE on/off on heals, IE. Cure, II, III and Sacrifice, II, III.
There are 2 new spells Curaga I and II. Those are the only 2 AOE Heals.

You can still AOE other spells.

It's not just heals that got nerfed in that way. Siphon MP and some others as well.

i was talking about the nukes not the cure spells.

Yep! Was experiencing grief with this today with protect and shell. I thought I was mis-pushing my macros at first but no, sometimes when you activate aoe the text in the chat window says it is activated but when you cast your spell it is still in single target.
