Hides and Skins drop rates

Back in 2.1 the drop quantities of misc hides and skins was increased and I was seeing drops of 6 and 9 hides potentially (maybe more). Now I am only getting drops of 1-3 like before 2.1. Is something wrong? Did this get reverted? I'm just coming back to the game from a 2 month absence. :confused:

As far as I know skins/hides never got any drop rate increases. It was only Fleece and Diremite webs which were unbelievably overcamped and can still drop 1-9 of each.

From the Patch 2.1 Notes:

The following items may now be dropped by enemies in greater quantities:
Aldgoat Skin / Gigantoad Skin / Boar Hide / Peiste Skin / Diremite Web / Fleece / Snurble Tuft / Pudding Flesh / Hippogryph Sinew / Diremite Sinew / Wolf Fang / Raptor Sinew

It just mentions "greater quantities" and not exact values, I'm thinking skins used to only be 1 per enemy. I've definitely never had 4+ skins drop off of anything throughout this game's life.

I'm fairly certain 1-3 skins was possible prior to 2.1.

Check the first comment on the Raptor skins page - it's dated 8/2013 (Before 2.1) and he is saying 1-3 skins drop per raptor.

I've gotten 5 boar hides at a time.

Maybe they just adjusted the rates? I for example remember seeing 8x Pudding Flesh drop in PS, though I'm certain I wasn't seeing anything like that when I was farming Raptor Skin.
