Treasure map key item disappears when clicking it to see big map

Steps:
1. Open key item menu to select a treasure map and click on it to bring up the small map for hint of location.
2. It does not matter which map I am talking about, since this bug is active on all kind of treasure maps, leather, toad, goat, boar, peiste, alexandrite
3. As I click on the treasure map itself to bring up the big map and find it's final location, the treasure map disappears from the screen
4. Press Circle on pad to cancle big map and get treasure map back
5. Keep selecting treasure map and cancelling big map to try and firgure out where the chest is
6. See my boyfriend having no trouble on PC since his treasure map doesn't disappear when he clicks it to get the big map
7. See frustration growing, rinse and repeat, and maybe succeed in finding the location
