Hunts :D
Alright, let me begin by saying that I like the hunt system the way it is. Yes, it's frustrating to get to a monster and see the last ounce of health vanish as you receive no credit... but not everyone can win, and people can't be expected to wait forever.
That being said, allow me to throw in my $.02.
I believe when A or S rank mobs spawn, they should have a spawn immunity, of a variable time. While this won't always be relevant (if some how, a bunch of people miss a HUGE monster) generally speaking a A or S rank are found closely after their spawn time. Giving them immunity for 3-5 minutes might allow more people to get credit and alleviate some of the stress people are having.

I haven't done many hunts, but from what I have done I quite like this idea... would definitely alleviate server tension :/

This is about te best idea someone has come up with regarding the hunts. It's rather sad that we can't learn to wait a few moments.. as far as what I hear its a US server issue =/

Yeah, the other day I was looking through threads on the Japanese subforums, and there were 0 complains about hunts.
This might no longer be the case, but we had about 10 at the time I checked.

If we really want to go the immunity route, 2 to 3 mins will not be enough.
Lets calulate a little. You spotted a rank A pop, you gave out the msg, ppl starts coming in, that itself will take more then 2mins. Not forgetting location, example, slyphlands or burning wall.

Well if a few moments won't work make it more like 5 or longer.. heck they could even just have this wait on US servers for all I really care. They can remove it later after the rush of the Hunts being new wears off and people learn to play nice with others.

I really haven't had any issue with the hunts. Almost 95% of the time, everyone on Adamantoise seems to be more than helpful and ready to wait for as many people as they can before taking down a target. As of now, I love the hunt system. I 100% agree with OP though, as that is a FANTASTIC idea, and I believe would help a lot of the folks who seem to be struggling with the A and S ranks.

What they should have done is either given each player an item/key item to spawn a set amount of hunts per week (2 rank S, 4 A, 6 B and unlimited regulars, for example) or placed a cap on the amount of allied seals you can get. That or completely remove anything that has to do with i110. You can grind the seals needed for an oil in less than a day, but in Syrcus Tower your get 1 oil and you're locked out of gear for the week!? WTF? In which mind does that make any sense?

Or give every player NM radar for free and let them just do w/e they want. Having half the players competing against half the others who are at a disadvantage at finding NMs is kinda funny, though. I'm surprised more people around here don't call Yoshi out for clearly favoring app users. I guess they could also just release ranger...
