this game dosent go into maintenance...it seems like every other day the game has some type of maintenance.:mad:

Welcome to post-major patch issues. :P There always has been and always will be. As to your question, the answer is yes.

FTP weekend. I'm guessing they're trying to stabilise the servers as much as possible so the Subbed players don't get hit with a ton of queues and disconnects.

What always irritates me is why they're incapable of doing this earlier in the week, rather than on Friday night, during Oceanic prime time.

I don't think it's hyperbole when there is also maintenance scheduled for the 18th, now, and for people who are new it definitely feels like they don't get to play much.

Personally, it's an issue because I'm only available in late evening due to my schedule. I can understand the frustration.

Edit: Oops, nevermind. Thank god. That's just the EU post (someone linked me so I missed that).

Once again, no matter what SE does, they can't win.

Players complain of issues and demand SE fix them, which requires server maintenance to do so. Players then complain of the maintenance to fix those issues they complained about in the first place. *rolls eyes*

And yes, not all of us have freedom as to when and how frequently we can play due to real life taking priority (work/school/family), but try to look at it from SE's point of view. They only do maintenance when it's absolutely necessary, or there is some game-breaking bug that needs urgent attention. They don't just take the game down for no reason (because, after all, that would lose them money). Its only for a couple of hours, and will be back up before you knew it was down.

Also, once the servers go live again, people complain that the fix that they themselves suggested doesn't fix anything ...
