Loads of people were up there in the previous patches... I think people just got over it after a while.

Though I admit it has a cool view, even I went up there when people initially figured it out...

Ya it was back in February.. when I did it .. just came back to game and didn't see anyone up there ever..

You can get higher with a goobbue

Ruby (the missing Carbuncle) will also appear up there.

My FC mates and I used to go into DF from that spot when we first discovered it, just randomly popping in on the ropes near anyone else that was there.

Oh, you know you can actually use your goobbue or magitek mounts to get up further onto that stone ledge above the rope?
It's a bit tricky, you need to walk towards it while getting off the mount so be careful you don't fall.

Though if you do fall you should hit the below ledge on the first rope so you wont have to start all over again.
