No sp earned from Weaver quest.. working as intended?

With the sweeping changes adding sp to quests, I naturally assumed that my weaving storyline quests would also earn sp upon completion. I just turned in the r30 quest last night and all I got was the usual guild points + gil, no sp at all.

I wonder if this is "working as intended" or a bug. I have not turned in any other crafting quests yet to compare other crafts. I am not even sure if any of the class quests give sp or not - has anyone received any sp for a class quest on any class, DoW/M, DoL, or DoH?

I gained SP by turning in the Archer level 36 quest.
