Finally its moving towards being a real MMO!!!
New hate mechanics is perfect! Tanks actually have to tank now.
New mage nerfs are great! people actually have to use their head for once towards skillful play while MP managing.
It now takes a group of skillful players in a party to take NM/Bosses down.
R45 Raid is also really good.
I am enjoying the game a lot more.
"Perfect" is a bit of a stretch lol
But I agree that 1.18 is a big step in the right direction, and SE has done a good job with it.
Well it was exactly what I needed. Felt like a damn noob sitting there spamming all my cure spells in AOE form not worrying about MP or stealing hate from tank.

I have to agree that this is the ground work the game needed.
it just needs to have small tweeks done now to get everything really
moving.
no wonder quality patches get more and more rare if this patch is called perfect lol.
it's more like the ground work, something i wish there was 10 months ago when the game launched.
hate mechanics are far away from perfect, and hopefully there will be small patches before 1.19 to fix the current hate issues.
the mage nerf? i don't know about that since i didn't touch my mage classes since the patch, but i guess they are working, atleast my group didn't say they hate the changes.

Hate mechanics might need tweaking but I hope its for the better! Better as in dont make it any easier. It's fine the way it is pretty much. I dont really see a issue with it. My tanks hold hate fine and i can cure3 easily without pulling hate.
Mages now use a lot of MP to heal but its all about good MP management. THM no longer has AOE cure which is great.. always wondered why 2 mages can do the exact same thing... whats the point
1.8 is ok, but to use the word "perfect!" sorry but its far from it.
