Solo SP improved in 1.18

Hi. I was reading a lot of post saying the sp in solo now is imposible and a lor of crtics like in this new patch.

So i decide to prove it by me self.

I test this whit my Gladiator rank 42. (now i am 43)

Pre-patch if u made a full link (1+3) of "Dunesflok" you won a 12k sp. Sometimes 15k, sometmes 10k. Depending of your lucky whit the mobs spawns. And you expend 15-20 minutes doing it and then, fail to explote... Etc.

Niw post-patch i solo "Dunesflok" whit my gladi rank 42 at 2 stars. I finish it in 5-6 minutes. Getting about 200 sp per kill. So at the end of the leve i gain around 2k skill. PLUS 4200 sp bonus for fast completion.

Conclussion: 12k sp for 20 minutes exploiting the system. Whit a set party to get always the same leve and spaming it whitout rewards becouse the "fail exploit". OR in the other hand, do a solo leve whenever you want. For 6k sp in 6 minutes whit rewards fo gils, item, standngs points and variation of leves.

Really still thinks was better for solo pre-patch. I just prove now post-patch is most easier to solo by leves.

I still need to prove the party-grinding method but at least solo is pretty cool.

BTW. Pre-patch soloing a leve will only reward you whit about 2k skill in total. So......

Why complaint about you even take the time to prove?

PS: i hope ppl support this kind of post. Becouse the 90% of the hot threads are complainers about all, and the answers i have to admit are mostly of ppl trying to stop all that QQing. ( i include myself ). But really see all those subjets as hot treahd make a REAALY BAD IMAGE OF THE GAME.

So. Share yours opinions, yours tests, your experience, eveb your rage about it. Just thnk in ppl was join in the forum and just see the hots threads about how bad is the game. AND IS NOT. The game is turning really good. Really good.

You're kind of right, but you need to look at the rate that lower leves give sp. Sure you get 4k sp from the rank 40 leves, but you only get like 2k from the rank 30s, 1k from the rank 20s, and maybe like 300 from the rank 10's. Leves basically make leveling linear now; it's going to take about 10 leves (rough estimate) to get a level no matter what level you're at (with the exception of like 1~23 cause of the low rank bonus).

For example, my wife did rank 30 leve, 1 star, got 2k from mobs, 1k from bonus, and needs 27k to rank. So that's like 9 leves per level. For me, I do rank 40 leve, 3 star, get 3k from mobs, 4k from bonus, and need like 71k to rank. That's about 10 leves.

No matter how you look at it, leves are designed in a manner that you must do about an entire leve set just to gain 1 rank. They didn't exactly improve soloing like you're thinking, they artificially flattened the curve. Which, it's kind of absurd for a rank 24 to have to do 8 leves per rank, while a rank 40 needs 10 leves per rank. Sure there's a bit of a curve, but LMAO not really.

Well I think most people are finding they don't make as much SP in groups which is kind of the point with the new Leve direction. I have found I gained more SP solo and that the challenge of the Leve is more balanced.

The only problem I see now is that group exp hasn't been expanded upon so that you kind of feel stuck when you aren't soloing leves.

There are new mob placements, settlements & dungeons to do with groups. I don't see what people are missing here. No one wants to explore, everyone wants the patch, followed by the walkthrough.

I am happy to explore and pro-grouping but unfortunately the 'lfp' tool sucks..

There were improvements needed on FFXI's lfp but it kept me in exp parties the whole time..

I see Serio. That a little unbalance curve. I hope they fix that. Btw, ur wife did not can do the leves at a higher dificulty? I mean. Meaby rising the stars the sp bonus will rise greatly? I find meself doing a rank40 leve at one start and i recive only 1600 sp bonus or so.

And whit my archer ra k 30 i recive yesterday 2700 or so at rank 30 leve in 2 stars (was easy). What class is your wife? I am asuming you/we have to adjut dificult to fight against leve mobs 8-10 rank more than your/ours rank

Is true. Immiss a LFP system just like in ffxi. I love that system. I am tired only to play whit LS pll. I like to meet new ppl and not way always till ls "hours"
