FFV and the Baldesian Scholars (crosspost from General Forums)

I didn't pick up on it but some alert players noticed that the disappearance of the island of the Baldesion scholars, as well as Minfilia's friend being named Krile implies the next throwback will be FFV (my first and one of my favourite FFs :D). It seems the void is becoming more and more a bigger threat... first with the Cloud of Darkness, and now with Exdeath (or something like him?). Also, Krile's last name is Baldesion in FFV.

We've been on this one for quite a while. Their first mentions happen in the 1-50 main scenario. We never get a good answer as to what they are, other than a scholarly Sharlayan group with close ties to The Scions.
