can't glamour the i100 pvp gear?

So I was pretty disappointed I spent the past few days saving up wolf marks to buy the i100 sch chest piece. I knew I couldn't equip it because my pvp rank wasn't high enough but I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to glamor it either. feeling a little cheated if only because I can't foresee myself ranking up to 38 just to use the glamor.
I know it's probably my own fault but still feel pretty bummed out about it

This is pretty old news. You should've looked this up before even buying them. Although, its better to have them as something to reach for [now you actually have a reason to rank up to 38], rather than having nothing at all. And its actually faster now with the generous amount of exp that Frontlines give, as opposed to the Wolves Den, unless you're win-trading.

I mean I don't know why this is something I would of looked up but I guess i get at what your driving at. I just don't understand why you can't glamor the gear.
Also it doesn't really give me something to "reach" for. Frontlines is the only time in this game so far i've had fun doing pvp (and i normally love pvp) and the though of running it 200+ more times to reach rank 38 honestly just shoots any desire in the head.

I have to agree with Danbo. It was pretty common knowledge since the beginning that "If you can wear it, you can glamour it".

Hypothetically, if you had SCH at level 50, and WHM still at level 30, are you able to glamour your CT/ST healer gear onto your WHM set and buy a base relic weapon to make that WHM 30 look like a i90 end-game WHM job?

Imagine the pvpers that put in the effort to get the gear through wolves den legitimately then suddenly you can just play a few games for a day then have a full set and glamour it... Frontlines pvp exp/marks is so ridiculous that you will hit rank 40 in no time. I'm glad that you can't glamour the gear without being the proper rank tbh, it'd be a riot if you could... If you love PvP like you say you do, then this shouldn't be an issue, you'll hit 38 in no time, it'll just fly by if you are having fun

yeah, the rules of glamour have always been 'if you can equip it, you can glamour it.' if you thought PvP gear would be any different, I would like to know how you came to that conclusion.

Weird I could have sworn I saw someone in Limsa the other day with the Lionsmane chest glamoured. Maybe i'm remembering wrong.
