What is the point of having PVP skill cap?

I don't understand why devs would implement a maximum # of skills equipped for each job. It's very tedious having to unequip skills and re-equipping certain ones every time I want to play a different job. You can only equip skills specific to your job and no class has over 10 skills, so what's the point of having this cap?

It's a helluvalot better than it was before, where if you'd speced to be a healer, and felt like going caster suddenly.

It was another match grind to res-set it by working over 14,750ish PVP Marks.
