New Ps3 copy to Ps4

I currently have a Ps3 and plan to get a Ps4 later down the road, but wondering if I were to purchase a Ps3 copy now would the transfer to the Ps4 upgrade still be available?

The upgrade is only available till december so it would depend how long you planned to wait before getting a ps4.
But to answer your question, yes, it would be available. But only till then.
