Is it possible to have HUD 'set's like gear sets or to have a HUD saved? I lost my HUD when I accidentally hit the default option. I also wouldn't mind having sets to better optimize the HUD for different roles.
Or simply move the Default option far away from the Cancel option.
I personally would love this, cos I would like my HUD setout to be different for my MNK and WHM, as when i play MNK everything is shrunken so i can see the area better, but when it comes to WHM i need a few things enlarged to watch what going on, so keep getting agitated when i have to rechange the settings all the time so this option would benefit me big style!
Wasn't there something like this mentioned in the live letter from E3? I'm almost positive that this has been brought up before unless I'm wishing upon a star...
I hope they do add something like this. I'd also like it to be account-wide, so people with multiple characters would to be able to save the HUD setup from one and load it on another. (I recently moved from PS3 to PS4, and had to re-do the HUD setup. It was frustrating that after finally getting it how I liked on one character, I still had to start over and repeat the whole process for each of my other characters.)
You can save the .DAT file to backup your HUD setup (I do anyway), but there's no way to change the HUD like with gearsets. The closest you can do is change the size of elements, maybe work that into a macro or something, but I can't see any huge use for it.
