Desynthais broken for blacksmith at higher levels

There are certain desynthases crafts like goldsmithing that have craftable i90 accessories (gold specticals, etc) to put materia into and desynthable. The problem come with blacksmithing.
#1 there are no craftable blacksmith items above i70
#2 highest weapon to be desynthable is i80 (titan) it's primal weapon, and cannot use materia to increase the percentage of desynth.
#3 cannot desynth allagan weapons, levi, etc. How does a blacksmith hit 100 desynth? not possible, hoping for a mod response. this seems broken.

Goldsmith has Gold specticals and can use materia to higher the percentage
Armorer can make i90 armors with Materia
Leather worker can do the same,
Weaver same etc

basically every job except blacksmithing

The ilevel doesnt represent what it takes for skillups and/or crafting levels. It's an indication, sure, but it doesnt say anything meaningful.

Blacksmiths can cap out to 100 using Primal Weapons, Tools and Furniture just as much as the next class. They get a bigger return from those than a goldsmith or an armorer would from their i90 accesories and armor.

Which, by the way, Blacksmith has easy. Goldspectacles take 500k easily to make. Same for most of the Wolfram Armor pieces. Why you would even remotely -want- to use that for desynthesis is beyond me.

And lets not forget, getting 100 skill in anything is at the moment, meaningless. It doesnt make you able to create or craft anything that you could not have done before already. It's just a nice way to get some ingredients back on bad synths and/or dungeon drops. Please think about that before you decide to put 100mil+ into it.

Do you know what your talking about, no you cannot cap max 100 on i80 weapons on blacksmithing, i know.. you stop getting skillpoint at 100% desynth or you get .01 skill ups on items. Desynthable primal weapon only go up to i80 (titan) you cannot desynth the levi weapons i95
The only items above that are the modified primal weapon that you need to break down at least a minimum of 3 (if your extremly lucky) primal weapons to make.

Bigger return? are you pulling that out of somewhere? are you high level at desynthing yet? what level are you. it's the same for all desynthing jobs.

and no getting max skill is required to get the Master Crafter Materia for the new crafting tools. So, yes, there is a reason to do it.

Being able to put materia into a crafted item will increase the success percentage. so that 50% chance that you had, with a crafted item pentamelded with some junk tier 1 materia is now a 70% chance.

I'm not even close to 100 yet. But at level 35 desynth skill for BSM, when I desynth items much lower than my own level I still get skill ups, just at a lower rate. Does this change the closer you get to 100?

Sidenote, as I was testing it just now I noticed my GSM or WVR desynth skills were going DOWN by 0.1 with each successful BSM desynth. But only when desynthing items much lower than my BSM skill level. So maybe that's a deterrent, or their way of making you think twice about leveling the cheap way.

When you hit 100% it stops skill up, you get none from 100% items, try desynthing a level 1 item and see. the closer you get to 100% the less skill points you get.

Also, yes when you skill one up, others go down.. wait until you hit 300 points total. at that point, when you skill up one craft, another will drop at exactly the same amount you skilled up on. So let's say i craft somthing that brings blacksmithing up by .17 weaver will drop by .17

yeah, so it's best to just focus on 3 crafts.

This is false. Not getting a skill up isn't based on the chance to succeed.

I just tested this, I'm i85 blacksmith, i desynthed a level 30 item, I got no skill ups. So, test it yourself before you chime in. the higher the chance the less skill points you end up getting in the end, when I desynth an item with a 60% chance, I get .50 skill up, when i desynth an item with a 90 percent chance i get .03 skill ups.. so yeah. Maybe it's different before you hit 300 used points.

I can say for sure that this isn't true. I just tried. At level 35 I have a 100% chance on a lvl 25 tool, and I got +0.28 skill.

There must be a level difference where it stops giving skill ups, but it's more than just having a 100% chance on the desynth.

hrm, maybe it's different at lower level then because that changes at higher level. I apologize, the higher you go, the lower and lower the skillups are when your closer to the percentage, it probably ramps up at higher levels. i'm level 85 getting .03-.05 at 90% and no skillups at 100% success.

Have you tried desynthing BSM furniture? Like summoning bell, etc.
