Ranger/Scout, any news?

Any recent news regarding Ranger and/or Scout?

That's disappointing :-/

The lack of news unfortunately seems to suggest that the ranger won't be coming soon :-(

They haven't said anything about a new class/job since they released Rogue/Ninja... :B

They said they are witholding information until Japan fanfest (October) and expansion will yield a new healer and tank. I think they'll announce the gun class in October, or the gun class is a Chemist and be a healer (which would be lame).

Could be a gunblade using tank.

I can't imagine us getting 2 DPS classes.

Gun class could be healer with Chemist job and a DPS job, it's been done before ;).

Someone said that Naoki was kind of disappointed how SCH/SMN turned out. It might be a slight clue that we might not see 1 class 2 jobs again until a while into the future. I'm not sure on that, but I couldn't even obtain proof about his displeasure with ACN.

I didn't get to try them in xi, i would like to see rune fencer as the new class for the expansion. As for a healer idk but I've been playing war and pld since 1.21 and could use something new in the tank department.
